Being in the beauty biz is a lot more biz than beauty these days. That’s why Zenoti’s cloud software helps salon and spa owners automate the little things. That way, they can focus on the big picture—not to mention people and perms. We wanted our videos for Zenoti to feel authentic, so it was important for us to capture the vibrant feel of a salon or spa. Not.Real and Kasana.tv helped bring our vision to life, creating colorful scenes, characters and settings that would resonate with Zenoti’s audience. You might notice a little pal zipping around. Meet “Willie!” Since Zenoti helps handle the little things like appointments or reminders, we wanted to personify (robot-ify?) the benefits of automation with a small character. Every wink and wiggle made us wish we had a “Willie” scooting around our office too. We worked with Breakaway and Coghlin Companies to tell the story of Columbia Tech, and how they are making the impossible possible. Columbia Tech is deep-rooted in many years of innovation and hard work. We wanted to highlight the many happenings that occur within their walls, especially their strong focus on production quality and speed. We used a mix of 3D, 2D and isometric style to create the world of Columbia Tech. It was crucial to our story to show how fast they are able to accomplish tasks, so we created a “warp speed” animation and design. This “warp speed” visual helped drive the story and concept, emphasizing the skill and detail they put into their work, at the rate their customers need. Jostle is a cloud-based intranet software that improves employee engagement and internal communications. They work hard to make extraordinary workplaces every day. They’re passionate about their product, and this is why we wanted to help tell their story. While Jostle continues to make extraordinary workplaces, they are pretty extraordinary themselves, so we highlighted their hard-working and fun nature. Through 2D animations, we created a depiction of Jostle’s world: the JostlePlex. Adding in fun music and sound effects made this piece even more lovable.
